On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, over 500 women attended the Women’s Leadership Conference “Grow,” sponsored by the Catawba County Chamber of Commerce at the Hickory Metro Convention Center. A group of women from MSA attended this all-day event with much excitement and anticipation. The day included vendors, exhibit hall, breakfast, lunch, break-out workshops, inspirational and nationally recognized guest speakers.
The Women’s Choice Award founder, Delia Passi, talked about the Journey to Success and the short cuts to getting there. Emmy-award winning anchor and investigative reporter, Molly Grantham, spoke on Real Life Rules – Stop Balancing & Start Juggling. Global consultant, Anissa Starnes, shared, “Is your check engine light on?” Author Mary B. Lucas, spoke on her book, “Lunchmeat & Life Lessons: Sharing a Butcher’s Wisdom,” as a memoir and tribute to her father.
