MSA Attends the 14th Annual "Wake-Up Call Breakfast"

The Council on Adolescents of Catawba County recently hosted the 14th Annual “Wake-Up Call Breakfast” a fundraiser at the Catawba Country Club in Newton. The event featured a breakfast, an overview of programs offered and the winner of the Jo Ann Spees Youth Advocacy award.  This year’s winner was Ms. Molly Rice, a Theatre Arts teacher at St. Stephens High School. The proceeds from the event will benefit Council on Adolescents’ prevention programs.  Linda Lambert, from Martin Starnes & Associates, CPAs, P.A. (MSA), attended and enjoyed meeting other supporters in the community.  MSA extends a big thank you to the Council on Adolescents’ staff for putting on such a wonderful event!

Council on Adolescents of Catawba County’s mission is to inspire today’s youth to be physically and emotionally healthy through education, awareness, and advocacy.  The Council is the leading agency in providing healthy youth education programs, the Lunch Buddy Mentoring program, as well as offering resources to Catawba County teens and their parents.
