Deadlines for Submitting EEO-1 Pay Data
Employers with more than 100 employees are required to collect and file pay data reports from their workforce with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Employer Information Reports (EEO-1) for Component 1 data must be filed by May 31, 2019.
Based on a recent ruling by Judge, Tanya S. Chutkan, employers should also begin collecting two additional years of pay information for calendar years 2017 and 2018. EEO-1 Component 2 data should be submitted by September 30, 2019. The EEOC will send notification of the portal’s opening date for filing reports for Component 2 data, but it is projected to be open mid-July.
