MSA Employees Spread Christmas Cheer

MSA Employees Spread Christmas Cheer

Employees from Martin Starnes & Associates, CPAs, P.A. (MSA) spread Christmas cheer on Thursday, December 18th at Walmart in Hickory by collecting donations for The Salvation Army. Michael Edwards, Cindy Henline, Mia Snipes, Jeremy Fortner, and Susan Bruce worked the event and represented MSA well. Proceeds from this campaign put gifts of food and clothing under trees and hot food on the tables of those less fortunate in our local area.
The Salvation Army began using a red kettle in 1891 to collect funds for others during the Christmas Holiday Season. Today, the kettle is a symbolic part of the Christmas season seen at store fronts throughout the United States. The Salvation Army also visits shut-ins and distributes coats to children in need. Without the large number of folks who volunteer each Christmas, none of this would be possible, so please consider stepping up or making a contribution when you pass by the infamous red kettle next season.
