A group of MSA employees recently attended the Future of Catawba County Summit event hosted by The Chamber of Catawba County. This energizing, half-day event was held at the Hickory Metro Center, and they announced that it had been 777 days since the last in-person summit had been held. We enjoyed seeing everyone in person again!
This rejuvenating afternoon was spent learning about all the wonderful happenings around our great county! A few highlights shared with everyone were the newest plans for the county’s Riverwalk, City Walk, and Aviation Walk, updates on the K-64 program and recent focus changes to the Catawba Valley Community College’s vision and mission statements. The afternoon was topped off with a discussion on the current state of the economy from Truist Bank.
What a wonderful day to remind us all that we are in one of the greatest counties in the state!
