Intuit will discontinue support for QuickBooks Desktop 2023 software after May 31, 2026. After this date, the following services and features will no longer be available:
- Desktop Payroll Services
- Check and Credit Card Processing
- Customer Support
- QuickBooks Care Protection Plan
- Online Banking
- Accountant Copy File Transfer Service
- Multicurrency/Exchange Rate Services
- Contributed Reports
To avoid interruptions in service, please verify that you are using QuickBooks Desktop 2024 or a newer supported version. If you are currently using QuickBooks 2023 or an earlier version, we recommend upgrading before May 31, 2026.
You can check your QuickBooks version by opening QuickBooks Desktop Accountant, selecting ‘Help’ from the top menu, and then clicking ‘About Intuit QuickBooks’ at the bottom of the menu.
Upgrading before the discontinuation date will help ensure continued access to payroll processing, banking connections, payment services, and other important QuickBooks features your business may rely on daily.
