Marcie Spivey, CPA

Marcie has over 20 years of auditing experience almost exclusively in the governmental auditing area. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Lenoir-Rhyne College in 1996. She has extensive experience conducting and leading audits for counties, municipalities, and public authorities. Marcie is a Reviewer for the Special Review Committee of the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. She is also an active member of the AICPA, Catawba County Chamber of Commerce, and NCACPA, serving as a member of the NCACPA Government Auditing and Accounting Committee and the Technical Resources Subcommittee.
